Common questions
How accurate is the candidate scoring?
Scoring runs a multi-source AI pipeline against voting records, bill sponsorships, public statements, FEC filings, Ballotpedia, and Congress.gov data. Every issue is sourced and tagged with a confidence rating, and human reviewers can override any score. Auto-scored candidates are re-evaluated quarterly; high-stakes races monthly.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes -- subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account settings, no questions asked. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not issue partial refunds for the unused portion of an annual plan, but we'll always work with you on edge cases.
Do you offer annual billing or invoicing?
All paid tiers are billed annually by default. We accept standard credit-card payment via Stripe, ACH for Tier 2 and above, and traditional invoicing with NET-30 terms for Tier 3. Email contact@battlegroundintel.com to set up procurement.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your mission text, custom issue weights, candidate pins, and any uploaded documents are yours. We never sell user data, never share organizational mission statements with third parties, and offer one-click export of everything in your account at any tier.
Does it integrate with my CRM or fundraising tools?
Tier 2 supports CSV export of candidate scores, battleground grades, and pin lists. Tier 3 includes REST API access for direct integration with NGP VAN, ActionNetwork, EveryAction, NationBuilder, and custom data warehouses. Custom integrations available on enterprise contracts.
What about security and compliance?
All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We host on SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure (Supabase + Vercel). 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) firewalls are first-class concepts in our access controls. SOC 2 Type II certification for Battleground Intel itself is on our 2026 roadmap.
